Thursday Gestures
Another great model David Abercrombie. The man has no bones.
He can contort into poses that keeps you scratching your head. Lucky for
me he can get into characters just as twisted and expressive as his poses.
The caricature is of Cecilia a master chef and all around artist. Check her out
at eatingkorean.com.

For how long does Mr. Bendable have to hold those poses?
Cholki, I'm so glad Thursday Gestures are back!
I'm crazy about that last one...he looks like a few "hell and brimfire" preachers I've seen in my day...like something out of a Nick Cave song..."They're whispering his name
through this disappearing land
But hidden in his coat
is a red right hand"...
Now I've got that song stuck in my head.
WOW!! THese are brilliant!! YOur gesture drawings are always full of wonderful surprises!
Bess and Alina, two women who ROCK!!!
Bess_ I'm not sure how long he can hold his pretzel poses. I'll ask him the next time.
I think the preacher man turned out
the best too. I was thinking of
Robert Mitchum in the movie The Night of the Hunter. I'll have to check out that Nick Cave song.
Alina_ Glad you get a kick out of these ditties hope you will join us one of these days!
Love the elastic poses! Really nice exaggeration. My favorite is the last one too, although I'm partial Cecilia's (?!) goatee and her amazing balance.
MG_ Actually its her lower lip. HAHAhA but the goatee would look good on her. I did put a full beard on her on a previous one. You know me and beards. I miss you man. HAHAhA
